Johnny Åman: Johnny was born on February 10th, 1986 in a small city called Nykarleby on the west coast of Finland. 2005 he moved to Sweden to study music at Malmö Academy of Music, and in may 2010 he graduated with a masters degree. Today Johnny is one of the busiest bass players in Sweden. He has been recording and touring with among others Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Dave Liebman, Billy Hart, Phil Grenadier, Marcus Strickland, Tony Malaby, Gilad Hekselman, Jason Marsalis, Peter Epstein, Tim Hagans, Joe Magnarelli, Gerard Precenser, Tomas Franck, David Braid, Jukkis Uotila and many more. Awards: 2018 Juno Award, Jazz Album of the Year in Canada 2020 Ystad Sweden Jazz Award “Next Generation” Niclas Campagnol: Born 15th of August 1973 in Växjö, Sweden. Half Swede and half Italian. Father Gabriele from Italy was a professional drummer traveled around in Europe in early sixties. Came to Sweden in 1968 to play with the Italian Group "Join Performance" at the City Hall Hotel in Växjö were he met Monica Ericsson, 5 years later Niclas was born. Started playing drums at age 4, and Father Gabriel hired a teacher that came home every Sunday afternoon to give Niclas an hour drum lesson. Later on he join the music school at age 8. Marching band, percussion ensemble, junior Big band, jazz, pop, rock ensembles and even big classical ensembles / orchestra. The direction was mostly classical at this point. At sixteen he moved from the little hometown to Svalöv, outside Malmö to study at Fridhems folkhögskola. Then a year later moved on to to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Studying further on in the Rythmic conservatory. Graduated in 1996. He became one of the most wanted drummers on the live scene, and for recording sessions. Such as TV-Shows and teaching at different schools, both in Copenhagen and around Denmark. Through the years he made a repetition and a name on music scene, not only in Denmark Scandinavia, Europe, U.S and many other continents like South America, Africa, East Asia etc. -He is a highly regarded drummer/musician and hired all over the planet. Johan Leijonhufvud: Johan was born 1971 in Gothenburg/Sweden and grew up in Växjö/Sweden. He started to play piano at the age of nine and guitar at the age of eleven. Jazz was an early influence from his parents record collection. Johan listened to Miles Davis, Stan Getz, John Coltrane and many other jazz giants. “Kind Of Blue” was a very important record. Cannonball Adderley´s never ending melodic lines and time feel made a deep impression. In the early teens Johan discovered fusion jazz. John Scofield, Weather Report, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Miles Davis… 1988 Johan moved to Skåne in southern Sweden for studies at Skurups folkhögskola. After two years at the school he moved to Malmö. He started his first trio in Malmö 1991. Johan moved to Berlin/Germany 2000.
